Creativity and Fun
This link leads to a voki wiki, American Idol style. The top two vokis start immediately and the young vocalist accompanies herself.
It also got me thinking about a creative use for vokis, singing and voice practice, or speech practice. Students and teachers alike don't really know how they sound when they speak. This would give them an occasion to hear themselves.

Kindergarten Science and 5th grade Social Studies
Here is a wiki I found that was created with vokis in mind. The Kindergarten page is basically a What Season Is It? Page. Students can verbally describe the season, write about the season or guide the teacher in creating their own class voki in the correct season.

The 5th Grade Social Studies voki is an introduction to a virtual archeology site. The teacher leaves the directions with each student on the voki so they can refer back to it and they will always know what is expected of them.
